Need a Picker-Upper? Leave it to Aaron as he Boogies and sings "Rayayayayayayayayayayain!"

When Lizabreff and I first watched this MV, it was like constant laughter.  It was a great experience, so we had to share it.  This song is one of those up beat and catchy type deals, so most people would already be cheered up by that, but the MV is a series of priceless moments that will completely make you laugh at the glorious ridiculousness of it all.  Still, Aaron is naturally looking really good:

So we'd watch him do the silliest things anyways.  But that doesn't mean we aren't also going to laugh.

Blood: Is that good bad or just bad bad?

So I started watching Blood last week, and couldn't contain my laughter all the way through episode 1.  There were so many moments of utter hilarious delight, although I don't think they intended for that to be the reaction.  But there it is.

I know they are trying to be funny at times, but those aren't really the times that are funny.  But there is a lot of compelling points to the premise and plot... and then there is the bad special effects and overkill efforts to look cool and bad-a... well... do they equal out?  Is this an entertaining "good" bad show, or is it just bad bad, the kind you only watch when you're in "that mood?"

Ho Goo's Adorably Relatable and Heavy Romcom

I love Dragon so much!  And this show is surprisingly good!  I honestly was going to watch it no matter what, even if it turned out to be super cheesy, but it's not.  It's surprisingly heavy and profound.  Not like it's super profound and stuff, but a whole lot more profound than I was expecting.  That subject matter though.

And despite the whole word play with Ho Goo and Fool's love, Ho Goo is a well rounded character with a lot of decision and spunk.  Basically I was sold in the first episode, and am now having a hard time waiting for next week's episodes.  I hate waiting a week.

How Healer and Other Kdramas Ruined The Dark Knight for Me

So I have this weird tradition of watching a Batman movie every Valentines Day.  It just started one V-Day when I was bored, long before I discovered K-dramas, and I just continued it.  However, I don't know if this tradition will last.  I don't know, maybe I'll watch Batman: The Movie next year... haha.

This year, because Lizabreff had never seen it, we watched The Dark Knight.  I'm still not sure why she hadn't but she should have just watched it in 2008 when it was cool, because it was a lot sillier than I remembered it, and it's supposed to be the "darkest" one.  Go figure.

Healer: The Best Drama We've Seen in a Really Long Time

Those feels!  No!  I'm going to miss this drama like I've never missed a drama before.  Why?  Because it was pretty much the perfect drama.  It was so good!

Not that I need to give any more reasons why, but because I'm going to miss it so much, I thought I would relive all the glorious moments that made Lizabreff cry and made this my new favorite drama.

Couples Who Have More Chemistry Than the Main Couple

I've been planning on writing this ever since I finished Bridal Mask, so it's pretty overdue, but here goes:

There are so many cases when the main couple just doesn't have the chemistry we'd like.  Or even if they have decent chemistry they get upstaged by the side couple, or a couple that is completely non-existent in terms of that particular drama (but those actors better start dating in real life).  Secondary romances get us through many a melodrama, and quite often upstage the main romance all together.

I know my OTP is often not the main couple, even if I like them too.  So here are some real OTPs, or at least some couples with more chemistry than the main couple.

Bigflo: This Noona is Crushing Hard

So, I was watching Boarding House 24, looking for something light and funny, and I was really liking this Im Hyun Tae kid (or as I call in in the show, North Korea), so I naturally looked him up.  High Top, the rapper of a new group called Bigflo... Sounds right up my alley...

Omo.  Now I'm totally in love.

Birth of a Beauty: How One Couple Made a Drama Worth Watching- or why they should let couples be cute for longer

Having just recently finished up the ridiculous Romantic Comedy Revenge Melodrama that was Birth of a Beauty, I feel inclined to discuss why I even watched it in the first place and what made me keep watching it.  It was like the best and the worst at the same.  Insanely cute romantic comedy, ridiculous and scream worthy makjang.  I guess the balance was enough to make me keep coming back?

This is the reason I started it:

And this is why I kept watching:

But there is so much more to it.
