Villains I Love to Hate, and Ones I Just Love Even Though They're Hateful

Ok, so I've been meaning to write this post since I forced myself to finish watching The King Face, because I hated Kim Do Chi that much, but school made me busy and I got lazy.  Also a bunch of other peeps wrote similar posts and I didn't want to be a crowd follower, so I waited until another hateful villain came along, in Shine or Go Crazy... but then more school happened.  So here we have it with Girl Who Sees Smells, and there is plenty to love and hate.

Ryu Soo Young- Successful Story of a Bright Girl

There are many types of villains that induce so many emotions from me, ranging anywhere from love to late.  Love to love them, love to hate them, just hate them, hate to hate them, there are all kinds.  The reasons for loving and hating them are connected to how well they played the part, how the part was written, how evil they are, how despicable they are, it goes on.  I tried to break this down into some examples.

How Healer and Other Kdramas Ruined The Dark Knight for Me

So I have this weird tradition of watching a Batman movie every Valentines Day.  It just started one V-Day when I was bored, long before I discovered K-dramas, and I just continued it.  However, I don't know if this tradition will last.  I don't know, maybe I'll watch Batman: The Movie next year... haha.

This year, because Lizabreff had never seen it, we watched The Dark Knight.  I'm still not sure why she hadn't but she should have just watched it in 2008 when it was cool, because it was a lot sillier than I remembered it, and it's supposed to be the "darkest" one.  Go figure.

Couples Who Have More Chemistry Than the Main Couple

I've been planning on writing this ever since I finished Bridal Mask, so it's pretty overdue, but here goes:

There are so many cases when the main couple just doesn't have the chemistry we'd like.  Or even if they have decent chemistry they get upstaged by the side couple, or a couple that is completely non-existent in terms of that particular drama (but those actors better start dating in real life).  Secondary romances get us through many a melodrama, and quite often upstage the main romance all together.

I know my OTP is often not the main couple, even if I like them too.  So here are some real OTPs, or at least some couples with more chemistry than the main couple.

12. King 2 Hearts 더킹 투하츠 (2012) Korean

Lee Seung Gi, Ha Ji Won, Jo Jung Suk, Yoon Je Moon

Drama Rating: 9/10     Neck Score: A (B+)

The necks are good... but too many stiff collars so... yeah.  Well made, perfect blend of political drama, action, humor, plot twists, and creepiness.  Yoon Je Moon is so, so good at being creepy.  I almost couldn't watch some scenes.  Also, one of the best kisses ever.  We've got a North Korean soldier girl and a South Korean prince (if there were still princes in South Korea) who have to work together, first as team mates, then dating, then actually falling in love, then saving their two nations.  A lot happens, but this was so well done that even when you don't want to watch parts, and put off finishing because you know the inevitable will happen, it's still so good that you have to watch it.  Also, super nice OST.  Best acting job Seung Gi has done.  Ha Ji Won is good as always.  Fell in love with Jo Jung Suk.
