Ji Sung, Uhm Ki Joon, Kwan Yuri, Oh Chang Suk, Uhm Hyun Kyung
Drama Rating: 9/10 Neck Score: A
Woah. What can I say besides "this show was amazing?" I loved it so much. It's mosaic structure at the beginning was great, as we flashed between the past and present and Ji Sung not being able to remember anything. He was amazing. I also loved Grumpy Cat. Well, I loved to hate Grumpy Cat in this, while also just loving him. He is just so good at what he does. He plays such well rounded villains. Even when they really aren't well rounded individuals. Seriously though, how did he make me feel for him and despise him at the same time. He was a horrible, psychopathic evil dude, who also just wanted to be loved. To be normal. To have everything he was always denied (from his perspective). How did he make me cry at one moment and then rage scream the next? Darn it, Grumpy Cat! I love you, man! Then we have a huge cast of just the best and worst people ever. It was always fun to see how the best people in this show were the people in prison. I loved the cellmate bromance between all 6 of those men. They were the best. There were so many good twists and turns in this show. It always kept me excited. Then, when I thought I couldn't handle another episode with another truck of doom, or another perjury ruining everything, they twisted the normal tropes and made me laugh. Optimus Cheol Sik for the win! It had the right amount of drama, intensity, tears, and humor. Just the way I like it. I felt all the emotions. It had a stellar cast, mostly. Even the less good peeps were passable. Loved that it was not about romance, although I would have been fine with the brother-in-law and lawyer hooking up. I loved the one side couple that did happen, but that is a story for those that see it. Once again, it was amazing, and I loved it.

Chiseled Jawlines: A Neck's Best Friend
You all know I like necks. If you don't know that, then just look at the blog title, haha. But you know what makes a neck look better? A nice jawline. It is something that can cut through the horror of the turtleneck and brings out the glorious lines of the neck so well. They're like best friends, really. They compliment each other so well.
I recently re-watched Queen In Hyun's Man with my peeps (now that Curdy has finally fully succumbed to the Kdrama), where the second male lead's jawline is a wonder. This caused us to start talking about how jawlines are hot and make necks better, which of course led me to start collecting peeps who represent this wonderful feature so nicely. So here are some jawlines to appreciate.

Men That Make Me Watch Dramas Against My Will: Smile Edition
Some actors just have that amazing power of making me watch a drama in spite of my better judgement. I know the show will be crap/lame/bad/cray cray/super dramatic and so on, but I still watch them because of that one actor.
Sometimes it's to the extent that I've watched every show they've been in, and some of them were so bad (I'm talking to you, Yoon Si Yoon!)
Sometimes it's because of their smiles. Those smiles that can make me watch even the dumbest of dramas. Stop killing me with those smiles, you... super attractive and beautifully smiling men.
Sometimes watching that show ends up to be not that bad of a deal, but sometimes you finish and say to yourself "why the heck did I just watch that?" and then you see that man's smile again and you know why and feel no shame. In fact, you hop online to look up another show he's been in, because you just can't get enough of that smile (or that neck and the rest of the face/body too).
Those are the some of the ones that I'm talking about here. Bad or good, these dramas were watch purely for that man and his amazing smile.

135. Kill Me, Heal Me 킬미,힐미 (2015) Korean
Ji Sung, Hwang Jung Eum, Park Seo Joon, Oh Min Seok, Kim Yoo Ri
Drama Rating: 7/10 Neck Score: A+
Ok, while this was completely makjang with the whole set up- I mean the birth secrets and corporate drama were off the charts- this was completely enjoyable to watch. It's probably all Ji Sung. I know it is. Park Seo Joon was good too, even if he had to be the annoying oppa. But Ji Sung! He was amazing! How he played every character with perfect emotion! Right down to those eyes which they had to emphasize so much (Ji Sung does have super gorgeous eyes). What I liked best was that it was always exciting and didn't make me want to chew my arm off ever. Each of the multiple personalities were so lovable (I'll be honest and admit that I was also one of the many who were swept away by Shin Se Gi's animal charisma), so much so that when they all went away at the end I cried! I was watching it at like 2am and was therefore more susceptible to tears, but still, it was touching. Not a super huge fan of Hwang Jung Eum. She can overact at times. Usually in the "comedy" roles. She was annoying as heck at the beginning, but I think she mellowed out a bit when the melodrama serious stuff rolled in. I actually was fine with her at the end. Anyways, yes there are lots of ridiculous and probably psychologically unsound things, but they managed to make it seem a little more plausible than other similarly DID themed shows that might have happened at the same time, so it was hard not to compare... I did try, but I just liked this one better. Like a million times better (I still love you Hyun Bin!). Even if some problems seemed to be magically wrapped up at the end... they were the less important ones so I was glad they weren't dragged out at least. And can I just saw that Ji Sung's jaw line makes me very happy. It's so sexy!

24. Save the Last Dance for Me 마지막 춤은 나와 함께 (2004) Korean
Ji Sung, Eugene, Lee Bo Young, Ryu Soo Young
Drama Rating: 3/10 Neck Score: B
This show is awful. It's a double amnesia plot meaning he gets amnesia in a car accident where he forgets who he is, and then gets into another accident that makes him remember everything, but forget the year when he didn't know who he was. Ji Sung is adorable when he doesn't remember who he is, but then he acts like a jerk when he can't remember Eugene, who he fell in love with during the year he was missing. But she goes looking for him and that ugly necked other guy is just weird. And then she becomes crippled in a car accident meant for Ji Sung. Also, Lee Bo Young is this clingy possessive chick who goes cray cray because she's so obsessed with Ji Sung. We know what's great about that scenario (knowing grin). Those two are married now. I believe this was the drama they met in, but I could be wrong.

6. Protect the Boss 보스를 지켜라 (2011) Korean
Ji Sung, Choi Gang Hee, Kim Jaejoong
Drama Rating: 8/10 Neck Score: A+
I actually tried to watch this one before You're Beautiful, however the first 5 minutes reminded me too much of Boys Over Flowers (the whole delinquent girl beating up all the boys and a guy with weird hair) that I couldn't bring myself to watch it. Then I gave it another go after a while and it proved to be awesome. The best part of this show is that it doesn't take itself seriously, and even makes fun of it's genre- business/chaebol drama. Even the evil parents find themselves unable to be evil in the face of the all powerful grandma. Also it's got two delightful men in it. Ji Sung is a great actor and quite handsome, and Kitty (Kim Jaejoong) suddenly replaced everyone in my heart. It didn't hurt that while I was watching this I also happened to stumble on JYJ/DBSK. The bromance between this two cousins (Ji Sung and Jaejoong) is way better than any of the romance, which is way good. Love the "girl" fights they have when they finally get down to it.
