Drama Rating: 8/10 Neck Score: A+
This one might have been the one I missed the most when DF suddenly disappeared from our lives. I was fully invested in these cuties and there were only like 4 or 6 episodes left (I watched them super far apart, I don't remember exactly). I had even been looking forward to the episodes, waiting for them to be posted, but they kept saying they had been delayed. This was the drama that I had been trying to watch when it all went down. But it was also the only drama that, as far as I know, still isn't on a legitimate site, sketchy! Like all the others, it suffered from the lack of momentum when I finally got back to watching it. I took too long to just break down and find a whatever site to watch it on, which is why I watched it in several different instances, taking forever. It was that part of the show when everything was going to get complicated too, so it was hard jumping right into the sad or lonely episodes. But, it was so worth it still. I can confidently give it the score I did, because it's super cute and fun. Great blend of the cute of a sageuk (historical) and the political drama that is every sageuk.

255. Suspicious Partner 수상한 파트너 (2017) Korean
Ji Chang Wook, Nam Ji Hyun, Choi Tae Joon, Nara
Drama Rating: 7/10 Neck Score: A+
Okay! Here we have a solid middle candidate for how well we liked the four early summer dramas we watched together. While this one started off fairly solid, it had problems in the middle. I also really wanted to know how DF got that the plot was about a murderer with amnesia, because that didn't happen until way later and not enough for it to be the main plot point. It was confusing (how did they know!?!). The first couple of episodes, setting up the premise of her being framed for murder, were great. The draggy part in the middle where Bong Hee's favorite line was "나 때문에!" and running away from Ji Wook... not so great. It got old really fast. Which was sad, because as a character she was the the best at first, but she became the worst by the end.
You know who was the best the entire time? MANTIS! I am pretty in love with Dong Ha. He is a pretty amazing actor. From Last to Chief Kim, he's proven he can be anyone and show such emotion with such subtle expressions. This one was no exception. How could he such a sympathetic and complicated person AGAIN?!? He was what I watched for as soon as he came on, especially when the times got draggy.
Another surprise favorite was Choi Tae Joon, who was so annoying in Missing Nine, but so great in this. I love this actor, but his character as murderous Tae Ho was a little much, but he was just an adorable loving puppy in this one, and from his fake annoying laugh to his actual good advice, he was the best. I did think his story got a little shafted, but since I loved him, I forgave it.
Oh, and obviously Ji Chang Wook was unreasonably hot, cute and gave the best cuddle hugs.
The good part was that the ending totally made up for the slowness in the middle. It wrapped up well, and with a decent twist, and then gave us a good denouement that was just cute and perfect after all the craziness. It was a nice change, after some other dramas left us with a sour taste and ridiculous ending (still crying over Lookout). This is a decently cute and fun murder romcom. It's hard to do, but in the end, I guess it worked out, if you can forgive the middle stupidity.

226. Shopping King Louis 쇼핑왕 루이 (2016) Korean
Seo In Guk, Nam Ji Hyun, Yoon Sang Hyun, Im Se Mi
Drama Rating: 8/10 Neck Score: A
Cute! Cute, cute, cute, cute!!!! I've never seen a cuter couple! They were the best OTP! Here is why: they were super honest about their feelings 95% of the time. They weren't afraid to just say how they feel, treat each other kindly, be touched by their thoughtfulness, and actively admit they miss each other or are jealous. None of this playing dumb for forever, they were like extra cute real people! I loved innocent little "hot house" Louis being super naive about money and work, but being super teachable! He learned how to be frugal and work hard and it was amazing. Then there was Go Bok Sil, the mountain girl, who was super naive about the modern consumer world and how to use smartphones, etc. and she was also really teachable! It was amazing to see them support each other and learn from each other. But they weren't the only adorable ones. Everyone in this show was likable and learned things. Even the crazy other girl and the reluctant villain uncle. I loved the bromance between Louis and Jo In Seong. That was adorable. Especially since they were both in Squad 38 together, and not necessarily as friends. I loved the ahjumma club and how it kept growing and thriving. Oska did an amazing job being the "straight man" who was also comedic. His little grunt groan was a favorite, and the scene with "The Winner Takes It All" was just pure gold. the pacing was kind of weird, because they didn't take forever dragging things out only to rush it later. They actually resolved things really quickly and in a way that they normally would be. The 5% time where they tried to be noble idiots for various reasons was so brief, and they didn't believe the lies, but they understood why it was happening and respected that (even though it's a stupid trope, it was the best uses of that stupid trope). Then they managed to give proper closure for every character- I mean EVERY character. We loved all the characters, so that was good, but it wasn't typical. It made the ending a little slow because all the big resolutions were taken care of, and that just left all the little resolutions. It was very sweet and teary and adorable. I loved it.

Just a Moment of Cuteness with Louie-ya
So maybe I just needed to make this post so I could post these gifs that I made to be more shareable for Lizabreff's birthday, but since Louie is going to be mopey soon, or at least more dramatic, I wanted to relive some of the cuteness for a bit, because Louie.
This show is so delightful, so I just wanted to show some love before it might make me change my mind. Hopefully not.

184. Never Die 그녀는 200살 (2015) Korean
Nam Ji Hyun, Ji Eun Sung, Kim Yoon Bae, Yoon Jin Yeong
Drama Rating: 6/10 Neck Score: A
Well this was a cute little drama. Emphasis on little. It is super short and very faced pace. It was so short that I forgot I watched it and am only writing the review for it now, when I watched a couple weeks ago. The plot is really short too. Basically, baby faced dude falls in love with a girl who died saving him, only she didn't die because she's immortal. She falls for him, but is worried that she'll just get attached and feel sad when he leaves her. There is also a best friend who gives him advice and a weird magician who made her immortal until she can find true love or something. The resolution happens really fast too. I mean, it's only like 5 episodes long, so of course it's fast. Still it's cute and funny, so worth the short amount of time you would invest in it.
